TA Performance offers quality head stud kits to replace stock head bolts on your Buick. Our head studs improve cylinder head sealing and ensure consistent torque values while saving the threads in the block from damage. In addition, studs help position the cylinder head and gasket during installation. Studs are made of heat treated 8740 chrome moly steel, hardened parallel-ground washers and heat treated nuts. Black oxided finish. Recommended for both street and competition.
These TA exclusive head studs feature a shorter coarse end (block side) thread length compared to other kits available on the market, so threads are not sticking out of the block when installed. The shank goes all the way to the deck so the stud properly seats into the block, rather than bottoming out at the bottom of the hole.
